Kove Finance ("Kove," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Keane Financials LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in Washington State. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Kove application or visit kovefinance.com.

By creating an account, joining our waitlist, or otherwise using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

Kove is currently in beta. Data practices described here reflect our current implementation and may evolve as the product develops. We will notify registered users of any material changes via email.

How We Use Your Information

We process your data on the basis of your consent (provided at signup) and contractual necessity (to deliver the services you requested).

Section 04

Aggregated and Anonymous Reporting

Keane Financials LLC may aggregate and anonymize user financial data to produce reports on financial health, spending trends, and related topics. These reports contain no individually identifiable information — no names, account numbers, or any data that could be traced back to a specific user.

Distribution of aggregated reports is at the sole discretion of Keane Financials LLC. Typical recipients include:

You may opt out of aggregated reporting at any time by contacting us at support@keanefinancials.com. Opting out does not affect your ability to use Kove. Partner schools that receive aggregated reports are contractually prohibited from re-sharing that data or attempting to re-identify individual users.

Section 05

Plaid and Financial Data

Kove uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. to securely connect your bank and financial accounts. By connecting an account, you also agree to Plaid's Privacy Policy.

Cookies and Tracking

Kove Finance uses Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the application. Firebase Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect anonymized usage data. No personally identifiable financial information is included in analytics tracking.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party marketing pixels. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect certain app functionality.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal or financial data. We share data only with the following service providers as strictly necessary to operate Kove:

If you follow links from our site or application to third-party services, those services operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the data practices of third parties.

Section 08

Data Retention and Deletion

You have full control over your data. From within the Kove application, you may choose:

All deletions are immediate and irreversible. No grace period applies. Waitlist data is deleted upon request — email support@keanefinancials.com to be removed.

Section 09

Data Portability

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. To submit a data export request, contact us at support@keanefinancials.com. We will respond within 30 days. In-app data export functionality is planned for a future release.

Security

In the event of a confirmed data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours in accordance with Washington State law (RCW 19.255.010).

Children's Privacy

Kove is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at support@keanefinancials.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Kove evolves. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most current version. Continued use of Kove after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Section 14

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under this policy shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation in King County, Washington before any legal action may be initiated. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington.
